Hackensack University Medical Center (HUMC), one of the nation's healthcare leaders, is driven by a commitment to providing the highest quality care.

HUMC is a 775-bed teaching and research hospital that provides the largest number of admissions in New Jersey. Founded in 1888 with 12 beds and as Bergen County's first hospital, HUMC has demonstrated more than a century of growth and progress.
