The Willows at Worcester

The Willows at Worcester introduces Sharon Nolli as the most recent member to its four-person sales and marketing team. The area’s newest retirement community, currently under construction and scheduled to open in fall 2009 at 101 Barry Road, is geared toward independent, active adults.

“We’re receiving a tremendous response from area seniors about The Willows at Worcester,” said Nolli. “I’m excited about my new position, educating them and their families and friends about the outstanding services and amenities The Willows will offer.”
Nolli, the former Sharon Ostiguy, joins The Willows at Worcester as a Sales Counselor.

Prior to joining the community, she was the director of marketing for Whitney Place at Natick, another SALMON Health and Retirement community. Nolli also served as the regional marketing director and the director of market development for two different home health care businesses. She has worked as the product marketing manager for Quantum Corporation, sales and marketing executive for EventPro Services, Inc., and market development reseller and program manager for Digital Equipment Corporation.

Nolli, a Shrewsbury resident, received a bachelor’s degree in business administration in communications from Clark University in Worcester. She also received a certificate in management of technology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Rensselaer, NY.
“Sharon joins our other talented sales professionals and, together, they have remarkable chemistry,” said Kate Salmon-Robinson, Director of Marketing Communications for SALMON Health and Retirement. “Working with this group is a pleasure - they’re a true ‘team.’”

The others engaged in sales and marketing for The Willows at Worcester include:
Sales Counselor Danyel Darger, who is an enthusiastic salesperson with a likeable personality. Part of her responsibilities include hosting events, giving community tours and presentations, and reaching out and connecting with seniors who are interested in all the amenities and services The Willows has to offer. Most recently Darger served as the on-site manager and realtor for Primetime Communities in Sturbridge, MA. She received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS.

His strength is building relationships with area seniors and their families and educating them on their retirement options. Part of his responsibilities include showcasing The Willows by hosting events and offering community tours and presentations to seniors who are interested in the vibrant lifestyle available at the community. Most recently working as a sales consultant for Jordan’s Furniture in Natick, Pupillo spent a decade as senior manager for Rotmans Furniture in Worcester. He received a degree in meteorology from the U.S. Navy.

Marketing Coordinator Kristina Hedge, also a Worcester native, is most often referred to as the director of first impressions. With a solid background in the hospitality industry, she has a knack for making sure everyone’s needs are met when they visit the community, from scheduling appointments to coordinating special requests. Most recently she worked as the head marketing administrator for Face 2 Face Global, a marketing firm in Melbourne, Australia. She received a master’s degree in hospitality and tourism marketing from Victoria University in Melbourne, and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Scranton in Scranton, PA.
