New Jersey Family Magazine, Mountainside, NJ: Christopher Amato, M.D., was recently named by New Jersey parents as a “Favorite Kids Doc.” Dr. Amato is the Director of the Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship, and Attending Pediatric Physician at the Goryeb Children’s Hospital, Morristown, NJ, and Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown, NJ. He is the Medical Director of Pediatric Advanced Life Support for Atlantic Health, Morristown, New Jersey. Dr. Amato is the Chair, Pediatric Section, of the National American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) Committee. He is the past recipient of the “Teacher of the Year” award from the Department of Emergency Medicine at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown, NJ. Dr. Amato is a physician partner of Emergency Medical Associates (EMA). He is an Assistant Clinical Professor, Department of Emergency Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical School, New York, New York.
